Foundation Funds Blake NZ VR Programme

The Cashmere High School Foundation was delighted to be able to recently fund the Blake NZ Virtual Reality Programme for Year 9 students.

This programme was developed by Blake (formerly known as the Sir Peter Blake Trust) and NZ Geographic to make New Zealand’s natural environments more accessible through the use of virtual reality.  Through the use of this programme students were able to enjoy an amazing learning experience exploring underwater reserves and understanding the effects pollution has on marine ecosystems.
